What documentation is necessary to register my boat for use on Bella Vista lakes?
All applicable state and federal fishing and boating regulations apply to Bella Vista lakes. Arkansas law requires that all vessels propelled by sail or machinery of any type to be registered. Boats on Bella Vista lakes must have current state and POA boat registration permits. Annual POA permits are available at the POAs Membership Services Department, 101 Town Center NE. Temporary permits (weekly) are available at the POAs Membership Services Department, Riordan Hall and the Loch Lomond Marina. The following are the requirements for registering a boat: 1) Copy of the current state registration certificate. 2) No delinquency of assessment accounts. 3) Current POA-issued Photo ID card. 4) Proof of boat ownership (state registration is sufficient) or notarized boat lease. 5) Trailer license plate number if applicable. Boat registration may be obtained by presenting a state registration certificate. Boat owners will be provided a copy of Arkansas regulations, a copy of Board Policy BP-2.
