What do you think we can do to stop gun and knives crime in london?
Boycott the companies that sellthese things, even pawn shops. March on Washington. Everything you do must be legal. And remember, the more you resist someyhing, the more resistance you will get in return. Be very careful in your approach because there are so many hateful people. Always try to come from a place of love. I hate to say it but you have a huge job ahead because God gave people free choice and some people who have issues, will still purchase guns and knives illegally, no matter what you do. It’s very sad but if you believe in Adam and Eve believe that freedom of choice was given to us and sadly some use it to hurt, mame or kill others. It hurts me because with all we’ve been given, all of our wonderful energy could be used for good; unfortunately others choose to use it for bad. There are no “gun and knives”‘s crimes, there are people’s crimes. To stop crimes, works on motivations which leads people toward crime rather than follow the unrealistic hope of banning anything that may hurt people. Responsible control on dangerous devices (like cars, methane gas, drugs, weapons and a lot more things) is good; paranoid controls don’t help, but rather make the situation worse since a strict ban will let only honest citizen unarmed, while criminals will just have one more law to ignore and the big attraction of lot of helpless victims (police is for crime prevention and investigation, they are not public bodyguards). Better job and life conditions, less frustration sources (paranoid control is a source of frustration…), less magic expectations and hype about quick and painless integration may be very good things to do to lower crime rates. Weapon bans just remove weapons form the houses of honest citizens and don’t help a bit in crime prevention since doesn’t remove
This is something that i often think about the dangers of as my children get older. Although i dont think there is much can be done. I believe those caught using or brandishing weapons should be taught to use them in the right surroundings. Wouldnt it be far cheaper for the Government to Pay a wage for National Service, then to Lock them away and pay out more thousands of Pounds. I would be more then happy for my Child to be sent into the Army, to learn not only a trade, but respect, to do something that is actually worth while. Rather then out on the street with a gun or a knife, thinking that he ir she is Charlie Big Potatoes. I think the Law system is Far to lenient on criminals, i can also understand that Prisons are over stretched so courts are less likely to to hand down a prison term. I think a couple of years in Army for anyone, would put them on the straight and narrow, and not only that, they are doing something for their country. As for all the riff raff that are coming over
