What do you think the Bible means when it says women aren to wear mens clothing?
It didn’t originally say that. Originally, the Israelites all wore the same garment, called a simlah. What Deuteronomy says in the Hebrew text is that a woman cannot put on a warrior’s weapon, and a warrior cannot put on a woman’s simlah. Since a man’s simlah was the same as a woman’s, what the verse means is that a warrior wasn’t supposed to wear a simlah that belonged to a woman.
