What do you think of the Wellness super5mix whitefish & sweet potato kibble?
We’ve tried this particular blend of Wellness, and I have to say, I was not impressed. I have always liked the brand, but the whitefish blend made our bulldog stink, his folds got infected and gunky, and the fact that Wellness creates more poops just makes me wonder what else is going on in there that we don’t know about. We use Innova with great results, but I see that perhaps with the chicken issue, this wouldn’t be an option for you. I have had good results with Orijen and EVO. The trick with grainless foods is to use about 1/2 the amount you ordinarily would feed. The food is VERY nutrient and protein dense, so you don’t need to feed nearly as much. As for other fish based foods, I’ve liked Fromm’s salmon and there are a few other 5 or 6 star fish based foods out there that will work. (DFA will have some listings, I’m sure.)
