What do you think of the new Next Proteins Designer Whey with GlycerLean?

0

Adding Glycerine to Whey Protein and calling it “time-released” is not a very good idea in my opinion. Many people are already concerned about all the glycerine that is in nearly every low carb nutrition bar. If you want glycerine and protein, there are many low carb bars to choose from. Glycerine is considered by many bar manufaturers to be a “necessary evil” ingredient in order to keep the bars moist without adding traditional fats and carbs. Adding it to one of the fastest-absorbing protein powder forms to slow down its absorption makes no sense to me when other complete protein forms are available that naturally break down slower. I think it is a far better idea to choose a milk protein (casein) based protein or a protein blend for slower digestion. Use whey protein (Next Proteins original Designer Whey Protein is a fine choice but you may want to use a whey protein isolate such as Prolab’s Whey Protein Isolate or TNT’s Isolate X) when you want fast protein absorption – like first
