What do you think of the french language/ or just france in general?

I think it is a beautiful language and France has a very interesting culture. The people are like everywhere – some are friendly and some aren’t. I am French but born in Germany and I would say the same for that country, language, culture and people. I married an Englishman. We both liked each other’s language, culture, people and country. I just loved organising school tours in England for my students. I am very happy when I visit my American relatives in the States. I don’t like people who refuse to learn at least one foreign language. They are not open to the world.

Never ‘took’ it, but speak it every day.

I’ve never regretted my decision to study the language, although the grammar may be difficult to understand sometimes. Some of the best things about France is that the country has produced some of the world’s most influential artists, writers, philosophers, and scientists (just to name a few professions). French still remains one of the world’s most widely spoken languages and is the second most studied foreign language after English. The people who say that French people are rude are perhaps unfortunate. Of course, there will always be rude people wherever you go. However, I have never been treated rudely by any French person. Although they may be critical of foreigners speaking their language with incorrect pronunciation (especially those just beginning to learn), one must understand it’s only because they have pride in their c
