I like Ellen but she will do her slapstick on the American Idol and it will ruin it. I don’t want her comedy in it. Simon wants to move on because of the shows he created in the UK where he makes more money. He will be missed because, although he can be rude, he is dead on with his criticism. He knows his field. Paula sometimes would make me uncomfortable because it was clear that she was having problems finding the words, thinking slow and who knows if any medication was a factor. Instead of Ellen I would prefer seeing some real musicians (not arrogant and full of themselves like Kanye West) giving the contestants guidance such as: Barry Manilow, Billy Joel, Mary J. Blige, Lionel Ritchie etc. American Idol is one of my favorite shows and I hope we can continue to enjoy it.
