What do you think of requiring dinner jackets and formal attire at a restaurant?
The market will determine if society accepts it, but I think it’s great to have some place to go that you know will be special. I am a member of a Country Club that used to have the bar in the restaurant. I got so ticked off when my husband and I went for a nice romantic dinner and the glofers were sitting at the bar yucking it up and cussing. Not fun. High standards are a welcome change. Then again I live in California and we are overly casual (I Hear) by the rest of the country’s standards.
