What do you think of pakistan and pakistani people?
Are you Pakistani and want to know how you are perceived by prejudice people? Or are you doing a social study type of thing and want to see what stereotypes people come up with. The broad stereotype of Asians are that they’re a hardworking, smart and studious people. I haven’t really come across any common stereotypes relating only to people from Pakistan. People from the Indian sub-continent tend to be grouped together even though they have disparate religions, customs, languages etc etc. But I don’t put any stock in stereotypes or prejudice based on the latitude and longitude of a persons birth. When you think about it – it has less validity than astrology.
I lived in Pakistan from my birth. Pakistani people are really very good. They follow Islam. There are many types of religon in Pakistan eg.hindu,christian. According to me,relations between Pakistani people is very good. Pakistani people loved each other and help each other eg.earthquakes. If you want to live in Pakistan, dont live in big cities like Lahore,Karachi because things are expensive eg.4.5GBdvd written is in 100RS(1$), whereas 4.5GB written DVD in small cities is in 50RS(0.5$). I also lived in a small city Khushab a district of Sargodha.I found every type of thing in cheap cost.In every city and village , gas, electicity , telephone and every small big thing is available.I buy my pentium celeron,2400 mhz,512MB Ram,128MB 3d card,40GB hard disk in 1000Rs(125$). People are very good in Pakistan.e.g ,my cousin merrage is held on last month, every boy of my street manage their marriage. They decorate hall with decorator for fast working. On marriage day some boys deliver meal with dv
Fundamentally they are exactly the same as you and me, They breathe, they eat, they have the same human emotions, they go to the toilet when they need to although, just like us, they all have different personalities and characteristics. Although this question is not racist there is implied racism in it as you are segregating a whole group of people and asking us to have an opinion on them as if they were all the same with identical traits and personalities.
Hey don’t take this personally because there are good people and bad people everywhere, but Pakistan has a long way to go in getting its act together. Pakistan for years has harbored Islamic terrorists and let Saudi Wahhabi money/culture dominate their minds. I saw some media reports on how Pakistan’s non-secular, non-democratic government brainwashes children with school texts directed against Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, Jews and Christians. There are other nicer muslim countries that do not destroy their educational system and culture. Also, I read that Pakistan children are not taught their history properly, (that they all belonged to a different religion before they became Islamic). In my mind, when you destroy your educational system and culture, you are creating a Frankenstein for the future, like what a communist country like China is doing to its people and children’s minds. Or what Hitler did to Germany in the early years. We should always be congnizant and aware of what our his
