I’ve never owned anything built by Nikon but I do know they build quality gear that’s both reliable and long lasting. That being said I happen to prefer Canon or Fuji – I own three digital cameras, 2 Fuji and 1 Canon. I enjoy them all – because they’re all quality equipment – but, I must say, the Canon Rebel XS is my favorite. Here’s one consideration before you buy, where is this Coolpix coming from, a site? Beware of “great deals” on cameras on the web. Go to re-sellers.com to see how this site is rated before getting serious.
