What do you think of mental maturity versus age in sexual relationships?
Being 61 it’s almost obscene to think of having sex with a child of 22 … and having sex with a 61 year old woman could be seen as obscene by a 22 year old. In USA you are in a sexually repressed society and have the highest incidence of teen pregnancy in the world. Australia has less than a third per capita. Many parts of Scandinavia and Europe have less than a fifth. Off the top of my head with absolutely NO evidence to back it up I would suggest that USians do NOT have adequate access to information and condoms. So far as dictating to ‘children’ when they’re old enough to have sex – they’ll do it if they want to and only with EDUCATION will you slow the process down. AND I mean education NOT religious instruction which is based only in FEAR and GUILT. Something is working in Scandinavia and Europe – it sure is NOT religion. Maybe there’s an outside chance they know something y’all don’t.
