What do you think of John Hagees “In defense of Israel”?

I wouldn’t read John Hagee because he personifies an anachronistic intolerance and ignorance unbecoming of a “Christian”. If he said Jesus didn’t intend to be the messiah of the Jews, he’s totally wrong. God set up the Jewish nation to receive the messiah and institute a new covenant. But, as always, God gave the Jews the freedom to accept or reject, and we know their decision. Having said that, we have to admit God does not go back on his word. His promises to the Jews stand. But the Jews, as much as anyone on earth, need to know what Jesus stands for because they will be dealt with in the same way by God at the judgement. In the end, people whose lives make them ressemble God’s Son will be accepted by God.
