What do you think of Jamaal Woolards portrayal of Christopher Wallace?
He was dope. I thought he nailed that sh*t from beginning to end. I thought it was even more special that he [was able to] capture Biggie so much when this was his first chance being behind the camera acting. I think that made it even more special. I gave him a thumbs-up just from that alone… He went to Biggie boot camp for six months and he nailed everything to a tee. The first time I went to rehearsal with him I couldn’t even look at him. I walked out the room the first time, I had to just gather myself and come back in. I mean, the way he was rhyming, the way he was moving, the way he was swinging his arms, the way he was holding the mic, the way he was wearing his hat – I mean it was to the point of where a lot of the times he looked exactly like Biggie. It was definitely emotional to see that. It was wonderful too. It was an amazing situation to be a part of the history of that. To know that I grew up around one of the greatest MCs that ever lived.
