Alcohol, whether it be Isopropyl alcohol, Methyl Alcohol, etc, all kill almost all known types of harmful bacteria, and those that aren’t killed by it can easily be taken out by following the alcohol use with any Carboxylic acid, such as Formic, Ethanoic, or Propanoic acid, which will kill any remaining bacteria that are resistant to the alcohol, as no pathogens I know of are resistant to both concentrated bases such as Alcohol (-OH group makes is a base) AND acidic conditions when exposed to both in a short amount of time.
