What do you think can be done to strengthen emergency management between the City of Orem and the LDS Church? Does Orem have a comprehensive management plan that involves the churches in Orem?
I believe that the City has tried to strengthen emergency response between the City and the LDS Church. In my area, we have block captains and specialists designated to serve in the event of an emergency. I know who my block captain is, and we have flags which we can use to notify emergency response teams of our circumstances. This came about through a coordinated effort by our LDS Ward and the City of Orem. Coordinating a comprehensive management plan would be something that would raise the bar for emergency management and I would support this effort.
