Too many small companies will be running in the summer of 2001. Buddy Lane has now opened Eastern Championship Wrestling, Mike Zinc has a new promotion, Mainstream has a crappy promotion and then GPW. This will lead to a bunch of watered down shows instead of the best wrestlers all being on one show. So far Mike Zinc’s sounds like the better summer promotion. (RAW only runs in the winter and spring for now). The Kowboy might even show up for Zinc. At RAW they have access to all the best talent because no one else is running shows in the winter.This makes for the best shows in the maritimes.
