What do you think about the listeriosis outbreak??
I think that it is really such a shame that this happened. The death toll from this outbreak now stands at 12. Regrettably, there is nothing that anybody could have done to prevent themselves from getting sick and dying. I am personally thankful that Maple Leaf foods and its president have addressed the issue and advertised their grief and apologies for the situation. Further investigations as to the exact cause of the outbreak will continue, but the cause of it may not be known for quite some time. All you can do at this point is not eat any product made by Maple Leaf foods and return the product(s) to your local supermarket you bought it from. They will issue you a full refund of the purchase price. Maple Leaf foods and its employees do sincerely apologize for any and all inconveniences this has caused, and that it was unintentional.
