My personal preference would be for a regular tower that is fully upgradeable with parts that are available everywhere. I’d check with Dell sales and find out if replacement items can only be purchased from Dell or does the “studio” desktop use normal sized and fit parts? I haven’t looked at the “studio” regarding what it contains and if it’s upgradeable with items such as additional RAM slots, 2 hard drives, 2 cd/dvd drives, card reader; several USP ports, etc., etc., etc. It may look unique and different but I’d make sure it can be easily upgraded. So unless you really need to save space, I do some thinking first. I have the standard mid-sized tower case XPS with all SATA drives and I’m very happy with it. Think it over…. as they say… “look before you leap”.
