What do you think about arab-israeli conflict?
Well its more of a Palestinian-Israeli conflict. What happened was the Jews, after the Holocaust, fleed Europe and lived with the Palestinians in their own district. Palestine was owned by the British at the time and the Palestinians viewed them as guests. But then the Jews declared independance and called their new country Israel. The Palestinians thoughts the Israeli’s were stealing their land and attacked. The Israeli’s won and kept the land they aquired over the short but violent war, forceing the Palestinians into neighboring territories. So now the Palestinians are furious and elecing military such as Hamas, which isnn’t so powerful, and Hezbollah, which is very powerful and actually beat Israel in the war in 2006.
