If the MDEQ requests a Preliminary Subsurface Investigation (PSI) at your facility, the soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for BTEX and Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs). If continuing sampling event are necessary and PAH results were all below detection levels during the PSI, likely no PAH samples will be collected during future sampling activities. BTEX samples will be taken if required during follow up sampling activities.
