What do you offer families that attend the Unity PreK Busy Bug Program?
A. Unity strives for an abundance of parent involvement. We offer PreK parents a variety of fun nights/days that can be attended with your PreK student (ie..A Luau Fun Night of swimming, popcorn and PJ Night with a movie, Family Feast Day with an activity followed by lunch at school.) We try to offer half of our activities during the day and the other half in the evening so that whatever a parent’s schedule, they can attend some of our events. We also offer monthly Library Nights where families are invited into the library to participate in a variety of learning stations, check out a library book, and enjoy story time with an activity to conclude the evening. The PreK Program provides families with a yearly calendar that lists the dates of all our events.
