What do you make of Ronnie OSullivans comments snooker lacks characters and is oring?
A lot of players maybe think the same as Ronnie but won’t come out and say it. But Ronnie wouldn’t be who he is if it wasn’t for snooker. I know where he’s coming from in going down the road of darts but I don’t think drinking and shouting is for snooker. The game between Stephen Maguire and Jamie Burnett will raise a few eyebrows as World Snooker is still investigating their match at the UK Championship in December, when several bookmakers stopped taking bets on a 9-3 scoreline, the margin by which Maguire won. I don’t know Jamie that well but I have got quite friendly with Stephen and I think what happened was blown out of all proportion. I’d be surprised if either of them had done anything illegal.
