What do you know about the Intoxilyzer 5000 (Breath Test Machine)?
Christopher Hoover was initially a pre-med student and son of a doctor. In his first years of college he had a double major in Biology and Chemistry. In those early college years he receive advanced scientific training in zoology and the laboratory sciences. He is personally familiar with the workings of a science lab with both its benefits and shortcomings. Mr. Hoover was the first attorney certified as an Intoxilyzer 5000 and has held that certification since 1994. In his studies he has personally been involved with experiments on the Intoxilyzer 5000 and its predecessor the 4011 ASA. He owns two Intoxilyzer 5000’s and a Portable Breath Test Machine. He teaches other lawyers in Texas and across the United States about how the machine works as well as its abilities and shortcomings.
