What do you hope to provide for the Medaille as the new Head of College Relations?
College Relations is really the area of the college that is the public voice. So what I hope to accomplish is to deepen the connection that the community has to Medaille, and most importantly, the connection that the alumni have with the school. I hope to advance the cause of fundraising with the college – to raise money from a broad array of sources to help support the college, its priorities, its students and its overall needs. We are in the midst of a very exciting and important marketing study. We’re in the research phase of that and have been talking to a lot of people, both on campus and off campus, trying to get an understanding of how we’re perceived – an understanding of the college, its services, its programs, all with an eye towards better understating how people perceive us, and better meeting the needs of both our internal audiences and our external audiences.
