What do you get a 13 year old boy really into video games for Christmas?
You should get something that he would read. Does he have hobbies besides video games? A more advanced adult novel would be good. You could even get yourself a copy, and read it together. If hes mature, you could get DaVinci Code or Angels and Demons. Theyre fun novels… theyll get his attention quick… good vocab builders… and even some history. Even if you dont agree with the politics and religious views, you could go over why you disagree…. Generate some deeper thought and world views. My sons only 10, but im slowely start trying to get him out of the kiddy world of video games and into the adult world. He’ll never drop the games… I even play once in a while. But there should be a balance… And if learning is fun, hes going to WANT to learn when college time comes.
