You get a mixed bag generally. Many veterans feel like such games are capitalizing off the hardship and sacrifice that they and their comrades went through and should not be allowed. Many don’t have intense feelings either way or are accepted. Most of the time you are playing as the Allied Powers, it WAS a war that is remembered with reverence in America and they understand the games are either non harmful or even pay tribute to what they did. The majority don’t pay any attention. They understand they are video games and kids SHOULDN’T be taking them realistically, or, as the other poster wrote “it’s not even close to reality” so it’s not even worth discussing.
