Witchcraft is a magical practice, a skillset, and while it is quite a spiritual practice, it is not in and of itself a religion. Wicca* is one religion that accepts the practice of witchcraft within it (though it is not required to be Wiccan). Not all Wiccans are also witches, though, and not all witches are Wiccan. There are witches of other faiths and those that claim no particular religion at all. As far as belief in God or gods, and specifics of one’s practice of the craft – answers will vary from witch to witch. Personally, I am both Wiccan and witch and I do believe in numerous gods and goddesses. I do practice herbal health/healing and aromatherapy, yes (mostly for minor things like colds, flus, headaches, etc. that can be treated at home without any drugs), but I will also follow the medical advice of my doctor for any more serious illnesses – and if this requires taking prescription medication, then that’s what I would do. My dear, you don’t need to find a religion just so you
