What do UCPIP Fellows do after their Fellowship?
Fellows take all sorts of different career paths after their fellowship at UCPIP. Many have gone on to work in public interest organizations, while others have attended graduate school or worked in the for-profit sector. For example, Emmy Bright, AB’99, went on to obtain an M.Ed. in Arts Management from Harvard University after working for North Lawndale Learning Community, and now works for New Urban Arts, a non-profit organization in Providence, RI. Shilpa Iyer, AB’02, worked for Access Community Health Network after graduating from the College, and is now finishing her MD at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
