Many people in the world that do not realise that Astrology has no place in modern society other than to fill pockets of unscrupulous charlatans: Knowledge and misconceptions can be very similar. There are way too many people that know things that are not so. For example, one of the biggest misconceptions many people throughout the world have is in relation to Astrology. There are people that are being ripped off every day by charlatans posing as Astrologers and selling their services – either on line, on the phone or even to newspapers and glossy magazines. The biggest problem is that astrology has no scientific basis whatsoever in modern world. You see in ancient times it was understandable because it was believed that all the stars (including our sun) and planets were in a fixed sphere encasing the Earth and orbiting around it.
