What do they mean by Visual Communication?
Well quite simply put, this is communication through visual aid. Think of a stop sign for example, you don’t have a police officer standing at every intersection telling you to stop. You have a sign, that communicates visually the need to stop. Graphic Design is basically the same thing, businesses need to be able to communicate with the public on a larger scale than someone standing in the middle of a crowd and shouting (although I’m sure this would garner some attention). This is where a Graphic Designer comes into play, they will create any number of mediums for the client which will then be used to inform a targeted group of the product, service, or otherwise visually.
