• News server hostname – this is the hostname or IP address of the news server. If you click the hostname, you’ll get some additional information about this news server. • Posting – this is mostly obvious except when it isn’t 🙂 This field shows whether or not the server claims to accept postings. Note that just because a server accepts a posting doesn’t mean it will actually get propagated to the global USENET. You may have to experiment a bit to find a server that has good propagation.
