What do the terms Adult, Returning, or Non-traditional student mean?
Most schools consider someone 22 years old or older an “Adult” or “Non-traditional” student. “Returning student” can either mean someone who has some college courses under their belt and is resuming their college career, or an adult who is returning to school to begin a college career.
