What Do The Stripes On The U.S Flag Mean?
The US Flag is one of the most recognized national flags in the world. It consists of 13 horizontal stripes of red alternating with white. Then there is a blue rectangle bearing 50 small, white stars. The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 U.S. States and the 13 stripes represent the original 13 Colonies that rebelled against the British crown.
