What do the statuses of “Pending Approval” and “Pending Launch” mean after I launch a campaign?
Once a VerticalResponse campaign has been scheduled and launched it will be run through an approval process to ensure that the content of the email is compliant with the CAN-SPAM law. In the Reporting area of the Control Center you will notice that the campaign has been set to a status of “Pending Approval”. The campaign will be reviewed, and if no problems exist (which will be most cases), it will either be mailed immediately or set to a status of “Pending Launch” until the user-designated launch date/time arrive. The “Pending Launch” status identifies a campaign that has successfully cleared the approval process and is set for deployment. If the approval comes prior to the arrival of the chosen launch date/time, and the user has not selected the “Earliest Launch Time Available” option, then the campaign will reside in the Reporting area with a “Pending Launch” status until the selected launch date/time arrive.
