What do the start of Labour pains feel like?

0

It’s quite difficult to describe what labour pains feel like, but i always describe it as feeling like a tightening sensation around my tummy. Just like Braxton Hicks. And they come in waves, first you feel a little tightening and then it gets stronger until they peak and then ease off. I don’t really have much experience of early labour pains because i was induced so i went from feeling fine to being in alot of pain pretty quickly. But, just like my midwife said, the pains build up gradually. Besides, if your waters haven’t broken you have plenty of time, and may as well make yourself comfortable at home, especially if it’s your first baby.
