What do the RMT advocates say?
Many of the more prominent RMT advocates use a check list approach to diagnose repressed memories of childhood sexual abuse as the cause of a patient’s problems, despite the fact that “there is no single set of symptoms which automatically indicates that a person was a victim of childhood abuse” (APA report).
