What do the Police Horses eat?

0

Our Police Horses, like all horses, have big appetites. They have Haylage (which is a slightly richer version of hay, which has been allowed to ‘ferment’ for a short time prior to packing) available to them all day and three meals of ‘hard feed’ every day. This is a mix of ‘Horse and Pony cubes’ (this is a branded feed containing wheat, maze, barley and essential minerals and vitamins), chop, which is dried alfalfa hay to add bulk to the feed and maybe another additive such as sugar beet. They also receive daily ‘treats’ such as carrots and apples.
