What do the number markings on the fertilizer bag mean?
The first number is Nitrogen. Nitrogen makes things green. The second number is Phosphorus. Phosphorus makes things bloom. When your flowers are blooming, add Phosphorus and the blooms will be more prolific and last longer. The last number is Potassium. Potassium, makes plants stiffer, thus your flowers will stand up nice and tall.
