What do the Nucleo Performance Levels affect?
Nucleo can be run in either Normal and Maximum Performance Levels. Nucleo defaults to Maximum as After Effects cannot be used while it’s features are used. Nucleo Pro defaults to Normal to allow After Effects to be available as the Nucleo features are used. When Nucleo is at the Normal performance level the Nucleo processes perform at a lower priority in the operating system allowing other applications to have priority when they need it. This includes the After Effects interface which is how you are able to work on a project while a Background Render or Spec Preview operation is happening.
