What do the Materials and Binder Types on the Quote Form Mean?
Heat Sealed Vinyl Binders: These are the standard vinyl binders where sheets of vinyl are printed and sealed over rigid chip board (we do not cut corners with the lower end fluted boards). Common finishes on the vinyl are French Calf and Suedene. We also offer a higher end line of vinyls with leather finishes, patterns, and a variety of textures. Casemade / Turned Edge Binders: This is a higher end treatment where paper, cloth, linen, leather or vinyl is wrapped around chipboard much like a book is made. We can use matching or contrasting liners per your selection. This is available as either a standard flat back binder or a rounded, multi-scored (Euro-hinge) spine binder. These can be upgraded by adding perimeter stitching, foam padding or brass corners. Film Laminated or Litho Wrap Binders: This is a type of casemade binder. We take your pre-printed sheets (or we can print from your disk) and wrap them around the binder. Printing can be on the outside only, or outside and inside. Pol
