These are safety switches referring to the flow and temperature of the liquid in the machine during operation. Tes must maintain a certain flow in order to work properly. If the flow rate drops below a certain point, the machine will shut off. If the temperature rises above a certain point, the high limit switch will kick in and also shut the machine off.
