What do the Icons on my Magellan 3100 GPS mean?
I can only guess that you are talking about the POI icons which point out things such as gas stations, restaurants, airports, hotels, ATM’s, Banks, etc… There is a copy of the users manual available for this particular model that can be downloaded directly form the Magellen website that might help you out with this. You will need to go to the link below and select the Product Family and Model number of the unit you have. This would be “Magellen Maestro Series” and “Magellen Maestro 3100 – North America” for your unit. This should help you to understand your GPS better. http://www.magellangps.
I have provided detailed information for the icons on the main menu for your 3100. I also have provided a link to the PDF Users Manuel for further informaion. You can start on page 5 or 6 of the manuel and you can also print the info as well. Hope this helps.
