What do the Honda mower numbers mean?
Honda mower numbers look like HRR216K3VXA MZCG-7200001. These numbers are all located on a tag, on the mower deck. The first spot HR is for Honda Rotary Mower, all Honda mowers start with these letters. The next spot R denotes the material or mower type: A means steel deck, B means bagging and mulching mower, C means commercial mower, M means mulching mower, R means rear discharge, S means side discharge, T means side and rear discharge, if it is blank it means aluminum or polymer deck, X means Versamow mower, Z means Zero Turn Caster mower. The next spot is the cutting width 21 (inches). For commercial mowers 70 means mid-sized hydrostatic drive and 71 means mid-sized gear drive.
