What do the following “display” messages mean?
PC – The Lens/Probe Cover is not on the Probe. Attach the Lens/Probe Cover, then take a measurement. AA – Temperature of the unit is unstable. Make sure the unit remains at the room temperature where measurement will take place. Allow 30 minutes to stabilize before using. Normal operating range: 50° F to 104°F (10°C to 40°C). AL – The temperature of the unit is 50° or below which is outside the operating range. Make sure the unit remains at room temperature where the measurement will take place. Allow 30 minutes to stabilize before using. Normal operating range: 50° F to 104°F(10°C to 40°C). AH – The temperature of the unit is 104° or above which is outside the operating range. Make sure unit remains at room temperature where the measurement will take place. Allow 30 minutes to stabilize before using. Normal operating range: 50° F to 104°F(10°C to 40°C). Er.1 – Service may be required. Turn on the unit again. If “Er.1” is displayed again, the unit may require service. Call the Service
