PC – The Lens/Probe Cover is not on the Probe. Attach the Lens/Probe Cover, then take a measurement. AA – Temperature of the unit is unstable. Make sure the unit remains at the room temperature where measurement will take place. Allow 30 minutes to stabilize before using. Normal operating range: 50° F to 104°F (10°C to 40°C). AL – The temperature of the unit is 50° or below which is outside the operating range. Make sure the unit remains at room temperature where the measurement will take place.
