The flag is used to identify publications written or commissioned by Research Connections. The flag is used to identify articles appearing in journals that require an article to be subject to a process of critical evaluation by one or more anonymous experts on the subject, known as referees, responsible for evaluating originality, quality of research, clarity of presentation, relevance to the field, etc.
