What do the Dutch know about making wooden shoes anyway?!
Xandre Kriel, a designer we represent, was recently commissioned by fashion designer Richard de Jager, to make several pairs of wooden shoes for an upcoming theater product. Xandre started the process by “shopping” for heels, in the forest behind his home. Attached are some pictures of the shoes at various stages of production. Enjoy!
