What do the boys think of being in The Head Masters House, and boarding life in general?
Question: What are the best things about being in The Head Master’s? Answer: When it comes to Houses, size really does matter; biggest is best and The Head Master’s is the biggest House on the Hill. The advantages are endless: bigger rooms, more single rooms/less doubles, more people to make friends with and the list goes on. In addition, the existing customs of the House mean that the boys are allowed to live independent lives without the feeling of being herded like sheep. Also, in the House we are allowed to order food such as pizza or Chinese on weekends to have some variation from school meals. We are also allowed to watch films in our rooms on weekends as well as congregate in the House TV room to watch a major football/rugby/cricket match. Overall this leads to a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere about the House. Question: How do boys help each other adapt to boarding life at Harrow?
