Before the Madrid Protocol came into force (1st April 1996), the official publication was called “Les Marques internationales”. This was abbreviated as “LMi”. When the Protocol came into force, the name changed to “WIPO Gazette of International Marks”. This is abbreviated as “GAZ”.
