What do teachers at New Horizons do to promote gifted education?
The staff at New Horizons School continually develop their ability to deliver a quality gifted education program and to address the educational as well as the social-emotional needs of gifted learner.In addition to attending traditional professional development conferences and courses, our teachers also attend the Society for the Advancement of Gifted Education’s annual conference. As members of the ATA specialist council, Gifted and Talented Education Council, the teachers receive literature on the best practices in gifted education.
