The SWLAHEC AmeriCorps program is designed to meet the needs of community organizations and businesses that provide healthcare programs and social services to their communities. SWLAHEC AmeriCorps members serve mainly in economically challenged communities and are dedicated to increasing the capability of people to improve the conditions of their own lives. Members live in the communities they serve, creating programs that can continue after they complete their service.
